I have really been able to get some great perspective lately on this whole weight loss journey. My current BMI is 31. Using shapeup.org I calculated this and then looked at the chart of danger zones and BMI. Once I get to 170 I'll be out of the highest danger zone... wowza though.... its scary to think that my weight got so high sooo fast... I will not technically be the green safe zone until 140 pounds... but I will still consider 150 a major victory... when it happens.
It just goes to show how important taking care of your body is. The fact that my own laziness and indulgence has put my health in the danger zone really sucks... now OFF TO THE GYM.
I'm on my goal to 140 as well! I wish I was motivated to actually work out more. :D But yeah, it's good to realize that the smallest weight loss can still make a difference. Good luck!
